The main center of the American Brandy making is California. Majority of grapes used are Thompson seedless and Ugni Blanc, Collombard and Folle Blanche. The latter three are used in smaller quantities. Prime method of distillation is based on continous stills process.
The minimum age of the American Brandy is 2 years. frequently the blends will use older brandies.

Worth noting is that Jepson and RMS are using original pot charentaise to make their brandies.
