Viking Shields | |
45 years after the launch of the Viking
Ship, Larsen has created the Viking Shield to tandem the famous flagship brand in the
family portfolio. The decanters represent an artistic interpretation of a Viking produced
of dyed porcelain matter, a technique applied by a few deluxe producers only, and never
seen in the cognac industry before. Value is also added to the product by the shield which features a hand painted 24-carat gold, or platinum logo at the center surrounded by engravings inspired by traditional Viking design. The decanters are available in the colors sky-blue and charcoal-gray with a choice of two different shields. Other colors and shields will be added in the feature, as the decanters are intended to be a collectioners item. |

.Le Cognac Arctique |
Following the success of Svalbard Cognac, Larsen introduced Arctic XO, a special blend of XO-quality cognac cut with glacier water from Spitzbergen. The 70 cl bottle is presented with a label and a gift box featuring a landscape painting by one of Norway's most famous artist Kåre Tveter. Tveter also produced the series of six labels for the Svalbard Cognac Collection, each one in a limited edition and only for sale in Longyearbyen. Today the earliest of these are sold for up to 20 000 NOK a piece on the collectors market. | ||
