Armagnac - how ot get there biking

Suggested starting points are:

Along the Autoroute A64 Bayonne to Toulouse

At the Pau exit take D144 north to Riscle, continue north to D2, past Tasque pick up D20 north, cross the river Douze. At the intersection of N124 and D20 (about 34 km from Tasque) decide where you want to bike:

to Auch follow N124 west to Vic-Fezensac,

to Eauze take N124 east to Mancier where you connect to D931 north.

From the Tarbes exit take N21 north to Mielan (34 km), Mirande (A Country&Western music capital of France) to Auch (total is about 70 km).

From the Lannemezan exit take D929 north to Masseube, Pavie and finish on N21 in Auch.

Along the Autoroute A62 Bordeaux to Toulouse

From the Langon exit take D932 south to Roquefort (about 65 km). Then D626 to Labastide d'Armagnac (another 15 km). Continue to Cazaubon for about 15 km then onto Eauze for the final 25 km. Fabulous biking among the pine forest of the Landes department and onto the hilly wineyards of the Armagnac country.

From the Aiguillon exit follow D8 south for 11 km to the intersection with D655. Turn east. After 10 km you get to Barbasten and onto Lavardac (about 15 km). Then you pick up D930 to Nerac (about 10 km) and after another 24 km you are in Condom.

From the Agen exit take N21 to Lectoure and either bike south to Auch or turn west to Condom on D7.

From the Valence d'Agen exit take D40 to St Clair (25 km), then D653 to Fleurance (about 10 km). Here you can continue to Auch on N21 (24 km) or take D654 to Condom (30 km).
